Die Künstlerbücher der Edition FANAL entstanden wenn künstlerische Ideen auf handwerklicher Erfahrung trafen und in einem kreativen Dialog Gestalt annahmen. Die Konzepte und Bildsprachen der Künstlerinnen und Künstler entfalteten sich in einer Atmosphäre, in der FANAL seine eigene Sensibilität, technische Expertise und handwerkliche Präzision einbrachte – so wurden Ideen greifbar und Form lebendig.
Im feinen Wechselspiel von Intuition und Können, von Idee und Umsetzung, entstanden Werke, die weit über den reinen Druckprozess hinausgingen. Jedes Buch wurde in enger Zusammenarbeit realisiert, damit die künstlerische Aussage in der jeweils geeigneten Technik – Serigrafie, Radierung oder Prägedruck – ihre ganze Ausdruckskraft entfalten konnte.
Die Auflagen blieben bewusst klein, um Qualität, Präzision und Authentizität zu wahren. Auf diese Weise wurden die Künstlerbücher der Edition FANAL zu Zeugnissen einer lebendigen Synergie, in der kreative Freiheit und handwerkliches Können einander befruchteten und eigenständige, in sich geschlossene Kunstwerke hervorgebracht wurden.

Les livres d’artiste de l’Édition FANAL sont nés lorsque des idées artistiques ont rencontré un savoir-faire artisanal et ont pris forme dans un dialogue créatif. Dans une atmosphère où Fanal apportait sa propre sensibilité, son expertise technique et sa rigueur d’exécution, les concepts et les langages visuels des artistes se sont développés. Les idées sont ainsi devenues tangibles et les formes se sont précisées.
Dans l’interaction entre intuition et maîtrise, entre idée et réalisation, sont nées des œuvres qui dépassent le simple processus d’impression. Chaque livre a été réalisé en étroite collaboration afin que l’expression artistique puisse trouver sa forme dans la technique la plus appropriée – sérigraphie, eau-forte ou gaufrage.
Les tirages sont restés volontairement limités afin de préserver la qualité, la précision et l’authenticité. Les livres d’artiste de l’Édition FANAL constituent ainsi des témoignages d’une collaboration dans laquelle liberté artistique et maîtrise technique se complètent pour donner naissance à des œuvres autonomes et cohérentes.

I libri d’artista dell’Edizione FANAL sono nati quando idee artistiche hanno incontrato un sapere artigianale, dando vita a un dialogo creativo. In un contesto in cui FANAL apportava la propria sensibilità, la propria maestria tecnica e il proprio rigore esecutivo, si sono sviluppati i concetti e i linguaggi visivi degli artisti. Le idee sono diventate così tangibili e le forme si sono definite.
Nell’interazione tra intuizione e competenza, tra idea e realizzazione, sono nate opere che vanno oltre il semplice processo di stampa. Ogni libro è stato realizzato in stretta collaborazione affinché l’espressione artistica potesse trovare la propria forma nella tecnica più appropriata – serigrafia, acquaforte o stampa a rilievo.
Le tirature sono state volutamente limitate per preservare la qualità, la precisione e l’autenticità. I libri d’artista dell’Edizione FANAL costituiscono così testimonianze di una collaborazione in cui la libertà artistica e la maestria tecnica si completano per dare vita a opere autonome e coerenti.

The Artist’s Books of Edition FANAL
The artist’s books of FANAL emerged when artistic ideas met craftsmanship and took shape through a creative dialogue. In an environment in which FANAL contributed its own sensibility, technical expertise, and craft precision, the artists’ concepts and visual languages were developed. Ideas thus became tangible and forms more defined.
In the interplay between intuition and skill, between idea and execution, works emerged that go beyond the mere printing process. Each book was produced in close collaboration so that artistic expression could find its appropriate form in the appropriate technique – screen printing, etching, or embossing.
The editions were deliberately kept small in order to ensure quality, precision, and authenticity. The artist’s books of Edition Fanal thus are the result of a collaboration in which artistic freedom and craftsmanship complement one another, to create autonomous and coherent works.
